Parameters governing the type and amount of data written during a simulation are specified on the Output widget.
Photon Energies
Monochromatic image data will be calculated for the photon energies specified on this tab.
Additionally, line of sight plots of intensity and optical depth for these photon energies will be available in the Drilldown option in Visualizer and SpectraPLOT.
To add a photon energy, click on the Add... button. To delete a photon energy, select it and click on the Delete button.
The contribution from each volume element to the intensity seen at the detector can be computed for each of the additional photon energies. The data may be viewed in Visualizer. Check the Compute Contribution from each Volume Element to Intensity at Detector box to enable the option.
Optical Depths
The Optical Depth Iso-Surface Values box shows optical depth values for which iso-optical depth values will be computed. Values can be added by clicking on the Add... button and deleted by selecting the value and clicking on the Delete button.
Spectra
For each detector, spatially resolved spectra can be computed. Vertically resolved spectra are computed by integrating the spectrum over each row of detector pixels. Horizontally resolved spectra are computed by integrating the spectrum over each column of detector pixels. It is also possible to write out the spectrum at each line of sight by checking the box labeled Write out spectrum at each LOS. This option should be used with care as it can result in a very large file.
There is also an option to write out the spectrum at each LOS in a binned format. The number of photon energy bins is specified by the user along with the minimum and maximum photon energies (in eV) for the bins. The bins are log spaced between the minuimum and maximum values.
